Where's John Weton, Greg Lake and Ade?

Not to mention Plant can't sing live in the same octave as in the studio, wonder why?:P I know why :wink:

jt, you wanna start a poll, then start a poll. I thought about a KC frontman, but between Wetton, Lake, and Ade, better to leave them all off. KC isn't exactly known for a frontman.

And I believe there are more Plant lookalikes, than any other frontmen, amongst all bands. I'm talking about bands, not just singers, as in Elvis. If I put Elvis on that list, he would almost have to win. So, everybody besides Elvis, you have to vote again Darren.

But Hammill is not really a rock frontman is he? Neither is Peter Gabriel, compared to Phil Collins. Yer rock frontman is someone who puts on a show, makes you feel like he's performing directly to you. So you got to be talking Jagger, Bowie, Bono, those kind of people. It's a different type of thing all together, really.

I still vote for Peter Hammill, or Kimmo Pohjonen, or possibly Henry Rollins circa 1991.

I voted for Freddy Mercury. I remember seeing him in concert and being highly impressed with what a wonderfully theatrical performer he was. He could have been an actor or theater person or whatever, with nothing to do with rock music and been just as successful, IMO. I don't know why I went to see Queen because I don't even like them that much, but it was great live. As a write in, I considered Arthur Brown, mostly as a joke, playing his Hammond organ with his head on fire.

I voted Other because I was thinking of David Lee Roth.
