League of Gentlemen 21 Sep 1980

This was my first actual experience of LoG....and i must admit to loving it..

Some really good grooves and found myself really getting into it. Sound quality is fair, nowhere near as bad as the Arena gig, but obviously not as good as some of the soundboard materaial.

What do you guys think of this one?

I enjoy it a lot. It's not quite as good as the live "Thrang Thrang" release from the band, but it's very nice. The sound quality is lacking a little from the rhythm section, so the thing isn't as propulsively dance-ish as it should be, but Robert sounds good anyway.

Anal gimboid alert!

I believe there are no soundboard recordings of TLoG live. All the tapes used for the official Thrang Thrang CD release were from ambient stereo cassette recordings (microphones set up at the rear of the venue) IIRC.
