The Vicar - Where's the Money?

Well, quite shockingly, after "vetting" my review, DGMLive actually printed it;

I am still to be convinced that this is not some great hoax.
I tell you it's no fun

It's the sound of the middle-classes getting a bug up their bum.

Impressive. I might not be quite so harsh myself...but I'd call it a second-rate Beatles pastiche, at best. With pretty good production! DGM does seem to be responsive and open so far. I'm awaiting their decision on what to do about the MP3 complaints. After a bit of arm-twisting about how we should all really want the FLACS, they've announced they're going to up the MP3 sample rate. Good business practice, giving the customers what they want instead of what you think they should want.

And while we're on the subject, I can't believe this turkey has been the Hot Tickle for so many days. Sure, support for a good cause and all that...but why not make it a supplemental and keep rotating through the actual DGM catalog? I'm jonesing for this stuff, waiting for the MP3 resolution. If they raise the sample rate and also raise the price, I'm gonna be an unhappy camper.
