Don’t agree but at least you are giving your real thoughts on RF. Darren is right, I read somewhere (PC by SE) that if BB thought he could play something that would make RF smile he would come back, or something like that....

if Bill cant make robert smile noone can.

and if sid is afraid to converse with people who dont think the way he does then so be it. I'll just ride my moterbike outside his house around midnight.

Yup, Bill has said in numerous interviews that if he had something to contribute to KC he would. However, I don't think the rock idiom is of interest to him now. And why would it be when he is master of his own destiny and not having to worry about keeping Grandpa Fripp happy?

As for Sid Smith...no comment.

No.

Darren lives in a constant state of miffedness. Don't take it personally.

It isn't. We're all Bruford fans here.

Of course you didn't say anything wrong, and if somebody thinks so, who cares? I enjoyed your comments myself, and only here do you find such contrary fan boy posts that reflect what a lot of former KC fans probably felt, or maybe current fans like yourself. Hey, you never know, your post may end up in Fripp's diary. hehe He likes to include stuff like that occasionally. I'll bet that would make your day.

I wonder if Michael Giles is going to rejoin the group?

A Time And A Word

Postby The Crimson Fox on Sun Oct 30, 2005 4:00 am

There has been a misunderstanding here - I love Bill Brufords playing and would love to see him back with King Crimson.

Dont get me wrong I also love Pat Mastelotto but Brufords playing was so unique. ProjeKct One was fantastic (the last gig with Fripp).

On listening to the Collectors Club release Nashville rehearsal in May 1997 though you can hear Brufords unhappiness in the sessions i.e

"That was horrific Robert"

RF - "Did you like that?"
BB - "Yep it was short"

"That was completely amazing but who else would wanna do that"

I seriously think that it was time for Bruford to move on

but I think the 2008 incarnation should include Billy Boy. on acoustic drums, now that would be interesting..
