how do i get KCCC discs?

Postby uncle_jonas on Sat Sep 03, 2005 10:48 pm

I happen to be a new king crimson fan. I actually found them last year, so I wasn't able to get any KCCC, (this without counting that i do not have the money to purchase any cd, because i live in argentina and the relationship between the money is 1 dollar, three pesos (local money) so every cd would cost me three times what any of you 1st world people would pay)
how do i get them? downloading them from the internet is very hard, since they are very difficult to find.
can you help me on this?
sorry for my bad english, i haven't studied any for so long...

You do what I did and buy them from http://www.disciplineglobalmobile.com/shop

If you can't afford to buy them, don't buy them. It's common-sense really.

You might also want to check Ebay, if you don't want to deal with DGM or want a different method to pay for them. Most Crimheads don't usually sell their KCCC collection, so I guess DGM and Ebay are about the only choices.

Yeah - eBay is good. I've seen plenty of KCCC stuff end up there and going for a fraction of the price.

Just take care to avoid the Russian bootlegs, they are very cheap (except for KCCC16).

Except for the shipping cost and (eventually) import taxes, I don't find those CDs very expensive. In Brazil the current rate for 1 dollar is 2.4 Reals. So, for a 14 dollar CD (a regular CC CD), we pay R$ 33.6 (a regular CD in Brazil ranges from R$ 25 to R$ 35).

Japanese items are back : it seems that most of the KCCC will be available in new formats...(not in Collector's Boxes of 3).
Look at HMV !

FYI...KCCC 35 (3/13/72) is available for pre-order now. KCCC 36 will be Kessel, Germany 1974 (April 1), just a few days after the Mainz date.
My favorite movies (right now):
"Lost In Translation", "Mulholland Drive", "Pulp Fiction", "Sin City", "Buffalo '66", "Ghost World", "Apocolypse Now (Redux)", "Donnie Darko", "Raising Arizona", "Shawshank Redemption"

Now that one definitely has my interest. We need a setlist when somebody gets around to it.
