Why hasn't Crimso come to Ireland since 2000?

Can you remember your first KC gig or even your last KC gig? We want to hear up those memories here.

Why hasn't Crimso come to Ireland since 2000?

I'm left bewildered. This is not fair. I've bought "Construkction Of Light" on its release date. Yet those buggers haven't come here. Does anybody know why?

Probably the same reason they haven't visited the UK. Same difference...

They hardly tour like they used to. Look in Sid's book of all the places they played in the 70's and 80's compared to the 90's and 00's and you will see what I am talking about.

That's Owen. He and his boyfriend Scorchie are our pet trolls. They come here to stir the shit, while I, out of good manners, leave their rival website alone. You'll get used to him.

Well, despite that fact, I have once read either in Fripp's diary, or Elephant Talk, or Krimson News, that he had an actual reason not to tour UK (England, Scotland and Ireland). It had something to do with the audience, perhaps; I'm not entirely sure, but that there is a certain dismissal of Robert towards UK audiences. Has anybody heard of that?

Yes, Fripp hates UK audiences. Also Canadian, and he just barely tolerates us in the U.S. Plus he's just generally disgusted with the state of live performance in the commercial realm. And KC's last European tour was full of disappointments, like halls that were a poor match for the band and were not up to the specifications that KC expected their promoters to meet. If you start digging through RF's diary you'll find no end of this stuff. Don't recall him ever specifically bad-mouthing Ireland, though.
