Was there ever a future for guitar craft? A very expensive gimmick and a way to earn kudos points amongst your peers, methinks. The first album was interesting because there was nothing like it, but then the gimmick wears off and you realise that it pretty soulless stuff and comes in one flavour. But then I have this theory that RF lost a lot of his soul and "feel" after he studied under Bennett. Parallels can be drawn with Mike Oldfield and his work prior and subsequent to his Exegesis course. When will these people realise that it is because they are a fuck-up that their music has passion. Try and fix yourself and that spark dissipates and you are left with a hollow-hearted facsimilie of the man.

I know that cherry blossom is very important in Japan. Don't you have festivals or something to celebrate the coming of the blossom? Some of the patterns in your film reminded me of fractals. I like fractals.

Yeah, they often do the flower watching (o-hanami) party with their family and friends under the cherry tree.

Found this site: http://www.discogs.com/search?q=King+Crimson&type=all that may be of interest to you. It's really interesting to see all of the various iterations there are of each album especially ITCotCK. I liked looking around at other band's albums as well. The music industry sure knows how to retread their albums, don't they.
My favorite movies (right now):
"Lost In Translation", "Mulholland Drive", "Pulp Fiction", "Sin City", "Buffalo '66", "Ghost World", "Apocolypse Now (Redux)", "Donnie Darko", "Raising Arizona", "Shawshank Redemption"

That's a cool site, I've been using it as a reference for several years. Nice to track down albums from different artists.
