I still like TPTB, but honestly, not as much as I used to. When it came out, it was a little weird to me, because most of the material had already been on other releases, either Level 5, Happy e.p.,or KCCC. TCOL was all new when it came out. Much more exciting. Also the running order was kind of odd to me. I don't know what I wouls have done differently (other than removing TPTB 3 or 4). Level 5 is a good opener, but Dangerous Curves felt like a better one, leading into L5. There is no obvious decent closing track, but ending with basically 2 soundscape pieces was quite odd. I think I've listened to them twice. This album has always felt like it was missing something. It's not bad ,just incomplete. TCOL on the other hand, flowed wonderfully.

have to agree, TPTB even though I enjoy it, seemed a little disjointed with not all that much new, just twisting things around quite successfully. on the other hand, TCOL is a classic KC album to me, one that I remember hearing on the Level 5 tour, and that makes it pretty special to me. Why it's a little underrated has always been a mystery to me.

Nice Darren, thanks for sharing. Official LP versions of THRAK, TCOL, and TPTB would be cool. VROOOM and HWWYHTBHW would be cool too, although I doubt DGM would sell enough to cover costs.

I would have kept them, but probably made it a full-trio live performance instead of the patchwork it is, and kept it under its rightful title. I've always thought it was a brilliant ending.

There's everything I've done, everything I'm doing
And what I haven't done yet
