A good introduction as to where Crim is. It covers LTIA4 ( the best version), a slightly different (for no apparent reason) version of Happy, a cool alternate Eyes, and a bunch of "bits/bites" that work wellon their own,or incorperated into other tracks on TPTB. I think the consumer should know what it is before buying it and thinking it's a proper studio album.

I like this EP a lot. At the time of it's release, it was a great teaser for "The Power to Believe". But it still gets significant playtime from me as. The haiku's almost make it seem like a completely separate Crim album.

This supposed "EP" is better than what most bands would consider a full release!

More like this please!

this was a different version of "happy"?!! how so?!! (sorry if i appear slow! lol)

i like the "tidbits", and the bluesy "potato pie" is very cool. was that adrien, or robert on the solo? i have wondered was the slow solo robert, and the agressive solo adrien?

The version of "Happy" on the HWWYHTBHW disc is longer than on TPTB.

And don't forget the "acoustic" version of Eyes Wide Open too...

so, what are the lyrics to "happy"? is there a place to find king crimson lyrics? here is what i have so far....

and when i have some words
this is the way i'll sing
through a distortion box
to make your mother sing...yeah

and..gonna have to write a chorus
gonna need to have a chorus
and this should seem to be as good as any other place to sing until i'm blue in the face.

happy with what you have to be happy with you have to be...(etc)

and for a second verse
i'll curse the....(here is where i get lost!)
i'
ll brew another pot
of ambiguity

then....

May this help?

Here we go :D

And when I have some words
This is the way I'll sing
Through a distortion box
To make them menacing

Yeah, then I'm gonna have to write a chorus
We're gonna need to have a chorus
And this seems to be as good as any other place to sing it till I'm blue in
the face

And for a second verse
Of terse economy
I'll brew another pot
Of ambiguity

Then I'm gonna have to write a chorus
We're gonna need to have a chorus
And this seems to be as good as any other place to sing it till I'm blue in
the face
Yes, we're gonna need to have a chorus
I'm gonna have to write a chorus
And this seems to be as good as any other place to sing it till I'm blue in
the face

Happy with what you have to be happy with
you have to be happy with what you have
to be happy with you have to be happy with what you have,
happy with what you have to be happy with
you have to be happy with what you have
to be happy with what you have you have to be happy with what you have to
happy with

Then I guess I'll repeat the chorus!
We're gonna repeat the chorus!
I guess I'll repeat the chorus!
We're gonna repeat the chorus!
Then I guess I'll repeat the chorus!
We're gonna repeat the chorus!
I guess I'll repeat the chorus!
We're gonna repeat the chorus!

Happy with what you have to be happy with
you have to be happy with what you have
to be happy with you have to be happy with what you have,
happy with what you have to be happy with
you have to be happy with what you have
to be happy with what you have you have to be happy with what you have to
happy with

The first time I heard that song I laughed and laughed! I can imagine Ade writing that at a time when he felt pressure (whether outside or self-inflicted) to come up with a good lyric.

I think one of the things that makes Ade so endearing is his incredible sense of humor. That and his impish eyes and devilish smile. :)
