Which two albums would you like covered on the tour??

Postby jtmack on Mon Oct 07, 2013 5:37 pm

since the new King Crimson is not doing a new album for the 2014 tour. Which two albums would you like to hear covered? I would like to hear "Starless and Bible Black" and "The Power to Believe covered".

Power to Believe and Thrak for me. The newer the better, except that this lineup just seems too wrong for TCoL. And these two have enough space for some sweet sax-and-'scaping passages, but generally stay heavy enough to keep Jakko from going too bland at the same time.
There's just three things in my life that I regret
There's everything I've done, everything I'm doing
And what I haven't done yet

I'm sort of surprised Starless and Bible Black has Three votes so far. I don't think they can do some of the newer stuff right because there's no Trey. Case in point "The ConstruKction of Light" Tony did it but it didn't sound right. Let's face it Gunn is a one of a kind freak. I bummed the last time I seen him play live was with KTU (killer band) or was it Quodia anyway it's been some time. Bring back Gunn!

whether practical or not, I vote for "LTIA" and "The Power to Believe". that would definitely get my attention, but they need to throw in Starless for the final encore.

That's the next poll, wherever albums win we'll pick the songs we would like to hear most off of them. Then a poll on each album of the songs we'd like to hear most. I know Fripp could care less about our opinion and that is to his credit.
Indy have you heard of "Resistant Culture"?

somebody help me here, I'm not understanding, except for "Fracture", why SABB is more preferable than LTIA?

and the odds of Fripp playing "Fracture" has probably long odds.

I think it's under appreciated. There's a lot of great Fripp guitar work like "Heath Food Faggot" I mean  "Great Deceiver" on it. Don't worry at the end of it all "Starless" will be the top song if not one of the top songs...
