"Here play on this. You can join KC. No you can't, I've just disbanded it. Hahahahaha...that's what you get for breaking up KC69."

Or something like that...

 Fripp really can be quite the Eric Cartman when he wants too, huh?
Walking out's just another metaphor.

I definately agree with that statement, and although it would have been cool having Cross on the studio track, we then would never have had RF's guitar playing the Cross opening. Because of this awesome Fripp guitar work, including the famous one-note solo, for years to come the "Studio Starless" would be Webster's embodiment of the ultimate prog-rock song......

If you want to quote someone just click the quote button inside the post you want to quote.

ex.

I posted blah blah blah you click the quote button inside my post and then fill in what you want to say and then click submit. :D

Try it now. Your profile was set to disable BBCode (all that Quote= /Quote stuff) in your posts. I enabled it for you and you should be good to go.

Good job Dog, I was looking and looking at Glenn's posts and couldn't see anything wrong with them. I didn't think to look at his profile. Please folks, don't disable anything in your profile, except maybe your e-mail address, if you don't want anybody to see it.

I've added the ALBUM version of "Starless" to this poll, and also the option to specify another version.

I voted for the album version, since it's an option now. I haven't heard all the live versions on the list. But I agree that Fripp's version of Cross's opening line is gorgeous, and I like the contrast with the sax.

The studio version of "Starless" is the ultimate song for me !
From every artist in the world, nothing can beat it !

But I now even prefer the version available by download at DGM on the complete Penn State concert (July, 29th 1974) : totally incredible !

Thanks a million. I wouldn't know a "BBCode" if I sat on it. I've been playing around with this for an hour and finally have realized that if you want to only quote a piece of a post (instead of that quote within a quote within a quote) you still have to leave the last [/quote] on there or you'll get garbage.

Let's see....retrograde honking or sax contrast?
