We all know we would see them any time we could but, if you had total choice would you rather see Kc at the beginning of a new formation when the music is fresh or when the group has been around the block a few times and they know whats goin down.?

Well like Darren it won't happen anymore, and as i have never seen them live i wouldn't be saddened about it.
But when it would happen i like to see them live when all material is fresh and new :D

Well I'm only saying it so that I can be proved wrong...

I'm always right, so there you go. After consulting the tarot, I sense that time is running out for KC and RF.

Both. It's apples & oranges.

New stuff, old stuff. New guys, old guys. Who cares!!! BRING IT!!!!

It's better than nothin'.......

Just for the record, it would be cool to see another 6 piece (RF,TL,AB,PM,BB,& Mel Collins!)
Dig me, but don't bury me.

Previous material, I might not get the chance to see and hear it again. I want the new Crimson as much as anybody, but I also want to hear the classic stuff.

So really this question boils down to the ProjeKcts (or TCOL tour, if you must) vs TPTB. I don't know. It's all good to me. However, with a band like Crimson, I think I prefer the fresh material.

Glad to see the polls are back up and running! :D

Without a doubt at the beginning of a new formation when the music is fresh.

I saw them do Level 5 on July 31, 2001 way before The Power To Believe came out. It seems like it was way better than the studio version, but with King Crimson that is usually the case.
