After hearing him on the new Kate Bush album, I would also like to nominate Rolf Harris. I think a didgeridoo-led soundscape album would border on the edge of sublime pleasure. Hmmmm...can you tell what it is yet?

I always wondered why Bobby hasn't played on any of Kate's albums. Perhapse he would have been a too obvious choise?

This is a good one.

Tool of course. Frip should do an album with tool! Other DreamCombinations would be:

Bob Dylan (Think of his last records) and
Peter Gabriel (again)

I wish he'd play with Crimson. Oh that's right  , The Everly brothers with T-Gunn. :P

Mike Patton
Adam Jones/Danny Carey. Or why not say it, all of Tool.
John Zorn
John Coltrane or Thelonious Monk (impossible since they're dead, but dreaming's free)
The Bad Plus
Brad Mehldau
Serj Tankian (Yes I'm serious. Imagine his voice on a Crimso-THRAK-type song. Killer.)
Meshuggah

Or just about anyone with a chaotic disposition towards music. Sublime and elegant, of course.

I voted John McLaughlin.

John Paul Jones

if only for the track "Leafy Meadows"on "The Thunderthief" which contains one of the more burning of Fripp's solos. More stuff like that would be welcome.
