listened to "Starless", and could hardly get through it. maybe it is just the interpretation, if so, you do not interpret "Starless", you play it as written, or leave it alone, imo. that's the worst performance of that song I have ever heard, but glad to see them TRY.

Didn't think I'd see the day when Indy wouldn't like Starless in any form. It was all right. I like the line up the non-Brits play here locally at the Baked Potato and around in L.A. often.

some things are sacred to the Crimheads of the world, and "Starless" is at the top of the list for many of us. it might just be fine by a club band, showing off their chops, but these are former members. I expect more...

Not the wost version I've listened, but Machacek's guitar on the bass riff is annoying... Except for that it's fine.

On the other hand "One More Red Nightmare" is very good.

Some music can only be played properly by those who wrote it. Anything else is a poor facsimile thereof. One of the reason Starless is so great is due to Bills unusual sense of timing. IMHO without it the song doesn't work.

The part that didn't sit well with me is Jobson's soloing. I didn't listen closely so others concerns didn't register. I'd like to thank Ironclaw for posting and giving us something to bitch about. :P

that's probably the main reason, besides lack of sax, that turned me off to whole thing. Jobson bored me to death, just being honest.
