Cover of the nightwatch on piano + vocals

Postby wkoppers on Thu Nov 28, 2013 9:06 pm

Hey there, long time fan of King Crimson, short time fan of this forum.
I make music myself, and find it very much fun to play King Crimson...

But you probaply are aware that KC have some pretty high standards.
I like this video I`m made, but also am curious what other King Crimson fans think about it:

Constructive critisism is appreciated.
Kind regards and I`ll be browsing a bit on the forum now.

If you DO like it, tell me what KC song you think would be good for me to cover!

that was beautiful, and any musician that tackles any KC, I have a lot of respect. hard to say, what might be another song for you to tackle, but that was very good. I changed your youtube link, to display it more in line with this website. and welcome to ProjeKction.
Everyone thinks I'm psychotic, except for my friends deep inside the earth.

Yes, it's great to listen to KC music by other musicians! And it sounds fine!

Nice. And with poignancy.

I think this is a pretty difficult song to sing even without having to play an instrument. I tried singing it once at a Karaoke place in Japan and did a pretty poor job of it.

(Amazing to me when I first found out, five or so King Crimson songs are generally available at Japanese Karaoke places. :D)
