New Year's Eve and the Day After

Postby Indyrod on Mon Dec 31, 2007 6:39 pm

First of all, in case I forget, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! to all you Projekctionites.
Anybody doing a little parting tonite? I'll be playing in a texas holdem tournament for a little while, doing some pretty heavy partying, and then watching the RADIOHEAD concert at Midnight.

Tomorrow, I will be very hungover, I all ready know that, but I have two outstanding newly released movies to watch I borrowed from the library, "The Bourne Ultimatum" and "Eastern Promises".

Have a great night... :D

No partying for me. Got to visit the hospital, come home, get an early night and be up at 4.45am to get the newspapers ready for the shop. Tomorrow is just another working day for some of us...

2008 - another 365 days to be miserable. :D

Unfortunately, in typical New Year's Eve fashion, I've just been bit pretty hard by the devil bug. So I'll be laying on my couch all day. I'll probably fire up some online poker later and self medicate myself with some scotch. But yeah, it's going to be a pretty pathetic night.

In any case, Happy New Year to everyone here! Thanks to everyone who contributes and helps keep this forum on life support while we wait for the Crimson beast to return!

Don't forget Feb 29!

It's another work day for me too. 31/12 finish work 7am, four hours "sleep" and up at 11:15, family all out so wander about like a zombie for the rest of the day, back to bed by 11pm, up at 5:30 and at work by 7am 1/1. I'm a WILD man. 8)

Happy new year everyone.

Of course, a leap year. I'll try and be extra grumpy on that day.

I hate Christmas and despise New Year. My sense of ever-increasing forboding takes grip around December 7 and continues until Jan 1, when most disasters have been averted. This year, my mother decides that she wants to go and die after Boxing Day. It wasn't to be, I tried holding the pillow over her face but she's still got some strength left in her. Luckily and joking aside, she's off the ventilator now and moaning about everyone in the hospital ward. Order has returned to the cosmos.

But yeah, happy new year and if you have learnt to avoid all the mistakes you made in 2007, you are a wiser, nobler person.

See what I mean about a sense of foreboding...

Take That rawk...I don't care what people say. Like The Pistols were the only punk band, Take That are the only boy band.
