Maybe Queen felt Verity's version was better.....

Well it was me who took the video down as I didn't want my YouTube account suspended. It was weird that the objection was raised by EMI when Queen's record company is now Island/UMG. But whatever the copyright issue was, I avoided trouble. I just was peeved because you see so many other cover videos on YouTube and there's no problem. I get especially peeved when there are cover versions (like the one further up this thread) which actually as adverts on them and makes money for the video maker. Surely that's a real breach of copyright if you profit from someone else's work?

But for those who want to know if Verity's version of Bohemian Rhapsody is better than the original, check out:

Due to Google messing up my page ranking for reasons they won't divulge, I have been making little video reviews on that there YouTube thingamajig. Now you get to see me in all my Uncle Fester glory and hear my dulcet tones addressing you. So I've created this little playlist of my videos which you can look at. If you like them, pass them on as I am trying to build up some traffic there. Yes, there will be some KC reviews on that channel in the future.

What's this exactly? There isn't even anything about it at Bill's own site.
There's just three things in my life that I regret
There's everything I've done, everything I'm doing
And what I haven't done yet

Bill Bruford's "lecture" in Tokyo was short but quite interesting.
His whole career was a journey to get his right "grip" between jazz and rock, acoustic and electric.
The Japanese translation of his autobiography will be published later in October.
We all got the early prints with his autograph.
He has been called "Brad-ford" in Japan.
It's corrected now and he will be called "Broo-ford" from now on.
