Unfortunately, the previous topic got corrupted when it hit 3000 replies. It's locked and if you want to continue the thread, do so by replying to this one.

Blooming database corruptions. Even pruning the database down 20 megs in size hasn't fixed them!

Only what I just read in Wikipedia.

Do you think Darren is trying to destroy us all with a supernatural web-board?

I'd prefer it if we didn't talk about my supernatural capabilities. :?

While sharing an afternoon cup of tea with my mother the following conversation took place:

Mother: "Ere, you know that gay singer...?"
Me: "What singer?"
Mother: "You know...that singer with the birthday...that Elton John fella..."
Me: "Yes, I am aware of his work."
Mother: "Did you know that he auditioned for that King Crimson thing..."

At that moment, hot tea was nearly ejected through my nostrils...I don't know how she came across that particuar nugget of information, or how she even remembered my KC fandom as I have never publicly spoken to her about it, but somehow my world got very weird... :?

If she keeps this up, she's being promoted to webmaster of this place! :P

My mother is of a generation that has an abject fear/apathy of computers and the Internet.
